Upon graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Aumann furthered her clinical skills by completing a rigorous one year equine internship at Pacific Crest Equine, a referral hospital in Exeter, CA. After her internship, she worked as an associate veterinarian at San Dieguito Equine Group, a specialty equine practice focused on advanced imaging and the care of race and sport horses in Southern California.  Working alongside boarded specialists and a team of talented equine veterinarians and technicians, she honed her skills in sports medicine by providing elite orthopedic care to horses at San Luis Rey Downs/ Del Mar and on farms in San Diego and Orange Counties.

Dr. Ann-Marie Aumann DVM CVA CVCH established Del Dios Veterinary Acupuncture in 2017 to focus on healing patients through Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) by providing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to equine and canine patients.

She maintains her veterinary licenses in these states and is currently focused on telehealth herbal medicine consults available to clients who are residents of California and Florida, and offering acupuncture appointments to the horses and dogs living in Keweenaw County in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Outside of work, she enjoys riding, traveling, and being on the water. She is currently pursuing her private pilot license and splits her time between Eagle Harbor, Michigan and Talkeetna, Alaska.
